About Research

Kamaraj Research forum focus to create a Research ambience and improve the quality of Research in the college thereby creating a conductive environment for enhanced research productivity in terms of publications, patents, products and funded projects. It aims promoting research in the emerging and challenging areas of Science, Engineering and Technology. It encourages the students and Faculty members to participate in conferences, seminars, workshops, project competition, etc. It promotes researchers to identify potential collaborators from industry, research organizations and academic institutions. It is actively involved in preparing database of the in house expertise available to provide Industrial consultancy and services. Kamaraj College of Engineering have been recognized as Scientific and Industrial Research Organization by DSIR. Our Institute has completed projects funded by various Government funding agencies like DST, DBT, CSIR etc., with total cost of Rs. 3.6 Crore. Recently one of the DST project Under the scheme of Children Centric Outreach Programme (Rs. 14,04,600) was successfully completed by Dr.D.Prince Winston Dean (Research) and Ms.Nisharani AP/ECE. Seven sanctioned MSME (Idea Hackathon 2.0) Projects total worth Rs. 6697500 have been pursued. Thirteen faculties from various departments have been listed in Top World Scientists 2023 and ranked 147 in private category by AD scientific index. One faculty member, Dr. D. Prince Winston Dean (Research) has been listed by Elsevier, Stanford University as top 2% scientists worldwide. TNSCST has sanctioned project funding for 8 student’s project. Three Projects from our institution are selected for FAER Integra Scholar awards out of 37 projects at the national level.
