About Club

Our college NCC troop has superior power and welt discipline. It is nick named as the troop of lions, regal army, and the troop of bravery and also considered as the second defence force, third army by all and also the top most student uniform force among the universe. Our college has strength of 52 cadets, under the control of our college Lieutenant K.M. SATHISH KUMAR is working as Assistant Professor in the department of Mathematics & Associate NCC Officer at KAMARAJ College of Engineering and Technology (AUTONOMOUS), K. Vellakulam – 625 701, Near Virudhunagar. He has more than 17 years of teaching experience. More than 30 cadets passed B certificate exams and more than 20 cadets passed C certificate with “A” grading.

Vision

NCC is an Organization engaged in conducting constructive activities for all the cadets under its fold. There is a strong belief that the training which our college cadets undergoing in NCC have tendency to trim them to work hard and also to develop self-discipline, leadership qualities and good value system. NCC also helps in shaping the students to dynamic and responsible citizens of India. It is certain that our college NCC training will be a platform for grooming tomorrow's citizens and leaders, and help in "Nation Building".

Our NCC Motto is Unity and Discipline. Cadets are trained to obey with a smile, to be punctual, to work hard and without fuss, to make no excuses and tell no lies NCC helps To develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and sportsmanship and the ideals of selfless service among the youth to make them useful citizen. To create a human resource of organized trained and motivated youth to provide leadership in all walks of life including the Armed Forces and be always available for the service of the nation.

Objectives of NCC

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) seeks to nurture well-rounded individuals by combining character development, leadership training, and social responsibility. Through various educational, adventure, and community-oriented activities, NCC strives to achieve the following objectives:

  1. To cultivate leadership qualities among students and enable them to take initiative in challenging situations.
  2. To strengthen character and moral values, encouraging honesty, discipline, integrity, and a sense of responsibility.
  3. To promote national consciousness and unity by fostering respect for the country's cultural diversity and constitutional ideals.
  4. To encourage community engagement and social service, motivating cadets to contribute positively to society.
  5. To develop self-confidence and decision-making abilities that help students become capable and responsible citizens.
  6. To improve physical fitness and mental resilience through regular training, sports, and outdoor activities.
  7. To instill the spirit of teamwork and cooperation, enabling cadets to work effectively with others.
  8. To create awareness of civic duties and social responsibilities, preparing youth to participate actively in nation-building.
  9. To inspire a spirit of service and patriotism, encouraging dedication to the welfare and progress of the nation.
  10. To provide basic military and organizational training, equipping students with skills that can support future careers.

Outcome

By achieving these objectives, NCC aims to shape students into disciplined, confident, socially responsible, and service-oriented citizens who can contribute effectively to both their communities and the nation.
