Dean's Profile
Dr. R. Suresh Babu completed his B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University in 1992, M.B.A. degree from Madurai Kamaraj University in 1996, and M.E. degree in Communication Systems from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai (Anna University) during 2004. He received a Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication from Anna University during 2014. He is currently working as a Dean (Academic Courses) and Professor of ECE department, Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology, Virudhunagar.

Dr. S. Thanga Kasi Rajan completed his B.E. Mechanical Engineering in the year 2001 and M.E. Manufacturing Engineering in 2007 at K.L.N College of Engineering Madurai. He has completed his Ph.D. Degree at Anna University, Chennai in the year 2020. He is currently working as an Associate Dean (Academic Courses) and Associate Professor and Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology, Virudhunagar.
Awards / Achievements
⭐Established Business Incubation center, MSME (Host Institute) at Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology. Acted as MSME Coordinator and obtained the fund of 66 Lakhs for the institution (7 projects).
⭐Acted as NBA Coordinator and Received NBA accreditation for 7 departments (CSE, ECE, BT, IT, EEE, Mech and MTRE).
⭐Received “Autodesk Design Academy” for the department of mechanical Engineering in the year 2017.
⭐Received award as Primary Evaluator for TOYCATHON 2021, from Ministry of Education Innovation Cell and AICTE.
⭐Received Rs. 30,000/- from the college under Kamaraj seed money scheme for doing a project on Design and Fabrication of Two Fold Adjustable Solar Panel External Attachment on the top of E-Vehicle for Charging Battery.
⭐Received Rs. 10,000/- from Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology- for the project entitled ‘‘A novel way of Design and Fabrication of Automatic Drunken drive Prevention System by Locking Accelerator pedal in Light and Heavy Duty Vehicles.
